Statistics, Justice and Christian Faith- how does each help understand the others?
Join us for an online talk by Prof. Jane Hutton.
I have consciously been a Christian and a statistician for about 40 years. I enjoyed maths from an early age. A little later, I became interested in justice and gratitude. My Christian beliefs have influenced my statistical practice, in writing on ethics and statistics, and in collaborations in medicine and law. My statistical understanding has informed my doubts and debates about Jesus as God and Saviour, and the role of faiths in societies.
